After finishing high school, Tilke studied classical ballet and modern dance at the dance academy in Rotterdam. During her training in modern dance (Marta Graham style) she discovered how movement follows the breath, which aroused her interest in the power of breath. Working with the breath has become of utmost interest to her.
Tilke had intensive training with Leonard Orr, Dyana Yogi, Sondra Ray and other teachers in Breathwork.
Combining movement and connected breathing, Tilke developed a form of bodywork, which enables us to dive deep into the Self, and connects our power and vulnerability.
After an intensive study on the Psychology of Selves with Hal & Sidra Stone, she incorporated the Voice Dialogue technique, as developed by the Stone’s, into her work. She did trainings in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Family Constellations, Polarity Therapy and Massage. She is Avatar Master. From 2001-2004 she has been president of the International Breathwork Foundation (IBF), and is now a member on the board of directors of the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance.

It was translated into German, “Die Kunst der integrativen Atemtherapie” – Die Vergangenheit auf Seelenebene heilen – Ein Buch um das Leben von Therapeuten zu erleichtern und ihre Klienten zu inspirieren.
